Did you window drop in your Ford Truck? Did it scare you? It makes a loud sound and falls all the way down without warning. I had 3 out of 4 regulators go bad. The dealership wanted $150 for the part and about $150 for labor. I decided to replace myself. The job isn't that hard to do. The regulator is simply the pulley system used. It reminds me of a drawer slide in your kitchen, but there is a pulley involved. |

www.bavariandominator.co.uk OK so the problem i am face with right now is that the car keeps unlocking itself and winding the window down. Not ideal but its a problem that needs to be fixed asap. Right now only the passenger window is coming down - but that could be because the regulator on the drivers door is broken so that windo does not work anyway (anoher problem that needs to be fixed) Any ideas The is a RHD car. I should also mention that before this problem the passenger window would intermitantly beat itself to death and i was told that a new lock assembly was needed - never got round to fixing it and can get around it by locking the car from the inside button when im driving. |
